How does fastread work?
fastread shows words one at a time at your eye's focal point (RSVP) with ORP highlighting to boost reading speed. Start with a WPM test, then improve with pacing and exercises.
Is it paid? Is there a subscription?
No. fastread is free — every feature is unlocked, and there are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Account → Delete Account to permanently delete your account and all data. This cannot be undone.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Data is stored on secure servers, encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and never sold. See the Privacy Policy.
Can I add my own books?
Yes. Add PDF/EPUB files or scan pages with your camera (OCR) to turn them into text.
Does it work offline?
Most exercises work offline; your progress syncs to your account when you're back online.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone and iPad (iOS). Your progress syncs across devices via your account.
